State-Mandated TestingParticipation in all state-mandated testing programs as defined by grade level, language fluency or enrollment in specific courses/subjects or educational programs is required of all VIE students. Students and parent/guardians will be notified of test dates, times and locations prior to each test window by their Credentialed Teacher (CT), letter, and/or notification on this Web site. The STAR Program requires that all public school districts in California administer standardized tests, designated by the State Board of Education (SBE) to all students in grades 2 through 11.
