Home School Academy
The Visions In Education Home School Academy is open to K-12 students whose families are committed to providing a minimum of four to six hours per day of instruction within the home. Credentialed teachers work with families to ensure curriculum meets California state content standards and to assess student achievement. Families participating in the Home School Academy may choose to access student accounts to utilize a variety of curriculum, services (tutoring, lessons, field trips, etc.,) Internet access, computers (Dell or Gateway Computer systems,) and HP printers. Student budgets for curriculum, services, and technology will be up to $1,500 for a full year enrollment (prorated for less than full year.) In addition, VIE provides a variety of classes, seminars and group activities to provide additional opportunities to build relationships with other Home School students and families. In order to meet college requirements, a high school student in the Home School Academy may enroll in community college classes, upon approval from a Visions counselor.
